This look is dope, but not overly done. It’s quite refreshing to the eyes, especially because of the blue sleeveless top which has a cool statement btw, “Life’s A Beach”. Brown pants are definitely in, again. However, they way it was crumpled short — that style I didn’t like much. The watch looks good and the hat? Perfect touch.

Starred by the talented actor, Jake Gyllenhaal, Source Code is an action film which centers on a soldier on a mission to locate a bomb that killed hundreds of people in a train. This movie is one of those “time travel” sci-fi attempt to being another view of the concept of time. I won’t be revealing much since I really didn’t like the movie that much.

I expected more, since it billed very high, according to IMDB. I won’t have much of spoilers but he just relives the same moment until his mission is done. He had several trials into which finding out where the bomb was and who planted it. For me, it’s very vague and the details of the time capsule thing, which allows him to travel into a dimension of a different time, wasn’t clearly explained.

The setting, for me is lame, since it recurs and happens over and over again in the train. It’s thrilling, as to which Jake finds the one who set the whole thing up, the terrible mass-killing. The action is good, I’ve seen Jake do action movies and I have no doubt on his skills but there’s just something lacking in this film for me. I give this movie two ratings. For people who love mystery and action, 5/10 which is alright. For people who want deeper things on action flicks, 3/10.

At first, I thought this movie was gonna be a lousy CIA comedy flick but it turns out to be a really funny movie with a good story. Starred by Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, the movie is basically entertaining and worth your time. It’s funny, ‘cos ever since, I think of Reese as weird and different but with this movie, she showed she’s up for it just like any line up of leading ladies that actors would want to work with.

The movie is about two CIA agents, FDR and Tuck (Pine and Hardy, respectively), who met a a woman named Lauren (Witherspoon) who hadn’t been much into dating seriously after her perfect-looking ex-boyfriend. At first, FDR and  Tuck makes it a fair competition, more like a manly game and as time passed, both used the ‘high-tech’ gadgets or CIA methods of spying on the date of the other with Lauren.

Who wins her? That is a question you must find out yourself. I liked the movie, really. I have this thing for “close” love triangle and two guys are best friends so that’s what makes it complicated. So maybe that’s why I also like the Movie My Best Friend’s Girl, because there’s the story of two best buds liking the same girl. Could I relate? I’m not telling. 🙂

But the movie is really funny and the action is good, though there isn’t enough of it for me to actually say that it is an action movie but nevertheless, it had good fighting scenes. I rate it 7/10, which is good and highly recommended.
